The University's athletic
facilities are the best in the state. All activities for the camp take place indoors, so
weather is not a factor.

Coach Gillen will be at camp on opening day to welcome campers and at the end of camp
for the awards ceremony. Schedule permitting, it is possible he will be available to
assist in other aspects of the camp.
Graves'Mountain has six outdoor basketball courts, two indoor courts, eight tennis
courts and an olympic-sized swimming pool.

Virginia Assistant Coach, Mike Malone, will be Instructional Director. He will devote
his full attention to the quality of instruction given to campers. He will give lectures
on the various aspects and techniques of the game of basketball.
At both camp locations, (UVA and Graves') the staff will consist of high school
coaches, college players, college coaches and former UVA players. We take pride in
boasting that the camps have the best staff available.
Room and board is provided on the University Grounds. There will be two campers to each
dormitory room. If you want to room with a particular person, please specify that on your
application.
Campers are served buffet style in the rustic Lodge. We are not afraid to boast that
this is the best camp food served in the country. The campers stay in "rustic"
cabins of various sizes located along a mountain stream.
A full-time trainer will be on duty to administer to minor injuries or sickness. For
more serious problems, the University Hospital facilities are available.
