Cal Golden Bear Basketball Camp
is designed for Campers of all skill levels. The camp stresses participation, fundamentals, sportsmanship and having fun.

A typical day at camp includes: line drills, stretching, station instruction, guest speakers, lunch, two games per day, and daily awards.

Our staff is committed to providing the highest level of personalized instruction. The camp staff will be assisted by high school and college coaches, current and former players, and a certified athletic trainer.

About The Coach

Ben Braun is regarded as one of college basketball's top teachers, strategists and coaches. In his first year as Cal's head coach, Braun led the Golden Bears to a second place finish in the PAC 10 and was named 1997 PAC 10 Coach of the Year. The Golden Bears went to the NCAA Tournament and Advanced to the "Sweet 16."

Braun has over 20 years of experience as a head coach. Braun's coaching philosophy stresses four main points:

3. Team/family concept

4. Enjoying what you do

The Cal Basketball camp will teach you how to improve and become a well-rounded and team-oriented basketball player.

11:00 - 11:30 AM Guest speaker Session #2: August 2-6 (Day Camp)

11:30 - 12:00 PM Games 9:30AM - 3:30PM (Lunch Provided)

1:00 - 1:10 PM Stretch

1:10 - 1:25 PM Line drills All camp sessions take place at the University

1:25 - 2:00 PM Olympic drill of California in the Recreational Sports Facility

2:00 - 3:00 PM Clinic (RSF), located at 2301 Bancroft Ave, Berkeley.

3:00 - 3:15 PM Team practice Limited enrollment based on available space
